December Meeting and Christmas Party

It's our First Annual Christmas Luncheon!  Share the gift of one of your favorite books in a White Elephant gift exchange.  Bring your book WRAPPED.  The book does not have to be new, it can be an old favorite off the shelf.
We will be having a luncheon and if you would like to contribute, please contact Cambria via Facebook.
Our book for December's meeting is The Ocean and the End of the Lane by Neil Gaiman.

April Meeting

The Running Dream

by Wendelin Van Draanen

What if you lived to run . . . .
. . . and that was taken from you?

March Meeting

Sang Ly lives in Cambodia's largest dump, Stung Meanchey, with her husband, Ki, and infant son.  Everyday is a chore for survival.  It has been said that hope dies at Stung Meanchey.  Along with their constant struggle is the knowledge that every month, the "Cow" comes to collect the family's rent.
Yes, hope seems like a forgotten idea in a place where so many items and people are forgotten, until one day . . .when Ki finds a tattered old book.

Sometimes, hope and heroes turn up in the strangest of stories.
